2018 Could Be Wettest Year In Recent History

2018 could go down as one of the wettest years for the state of Kentucky.
In 2018 Caldwell County recorded 58.4 inches of rain at the Kentucky Mesonet site. Trigg County’s site recorded 63.75 inches, with Christian County reporting 61 inches and Todd County recording 55.6 inches.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says most of the state has seen more rainfall this year than ever before.

Powell adds meteroligists can’t seem to figure what caused 2018 to be so wet.

Showers and thunderstorms during the day Monday added a few inches of rain to the 2018 totals.
