A section of a state highway in southern Caldwell County that was scheduled to close on Friday for minor road work will now not close until Tuesday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Public Information Officer Keith Todd says that a section of KY 139/Cadiz Road, about three miles south of Princeton between Rock Springs Road and Silver Star School Road, will now be closed on Tuesday, January 8th, to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
Todd says the road work has been delayed due to threat of rain on Friday. The roadway is now expected to close at eight Tuesday morning and reopen around three Tuesday afternoon.
There will be no marked detour.
