PADD Board Hears Fiscal Year 2018 Audit Report

The Pennyrile Area Development District Board of Directors went over the 2018 fiscal year audit report during their monthly meeting Monday afternoon.

Jaime Petersen from Calhoun and Company presented the audit and says PADD received a clean audit.

Petersen says PADD collected over $11,269,000 in revenues and spent nearly $11,365,000 during the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2018.

In other business, new officers were sworn in after the recommendation made by the nominating committee earlier in the month. Board chairmen will be Scott Marshall of Todd County, vice-chair is Crittenden County Judge/Executive Perry Newcom, the secretary will be Denise Sutton of Lyon County, and treasurer is Trigg County Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander. The new officers will serve in their positions until June 30, 2020.PADD Executive Director Jason Vincent adds the national government shutdown does not have any effect on any services offered by the organization.
