Princeton woman arrested for theft after an incident at a local grocery store Monday

A Princeton woman was arrested on theft charges after an incident at a local grocery store Monday afternoon.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a theft complaint at Food Giant just before 12:30. Employees told officers that during a weekly audit they had found that $646.38 was missing. Employees had discovered that three money orders had been requested, but payment had only been received on two.
Officers were able to review surveillance videos and identified the suspect, 45-year-old Carrie A. Harmon.
Officers were able to find and arrest Harmon, charging her with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but less than $10,000. She was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
