The United Way of the Pennyrile is making a final plea for donations this week to end their yearly fundraiser on a strong note.
Co-chairman Chris Gilkey tells the News Edge they need more donations to reach the goal of $806,000.
Gilkey adds they help several agencies in Caldwell, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.
The campaign has raised around 75% of their goal, but it will end Thursday evening with their Celebration Dinner at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
