The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Caldwell, Hopkins, Lyon and Marshall counties until midnight Saturday night.
NWS Meteorologists say those counties could receive anywhere from 3 to 7 inches of snow accumulation.
Tennessee border counties including; Calloway, Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties continue to be under a Winter Weather Advisory through midnight Saturday. Those counties could see some accumulation of up to 3 inches.
Officials continue to stress the importance of staying at home throughout the overnight hours tonight as the drastic drop in temperatures will cause roadways to freeze rather quickly.
