Sunshine will help clear some roadways throughout Caldwell County this afternoon, but when the sun goes down the roads could freeze yet again. Officials say the plowing and salt process is helping slowly, even on state roads. They advise to not travel unless you must get out.
Your Weather Edge forecast calls for an overnight low around 15, so any liquid left on roadways will refreeze fairly quickly after sunset and will remain ice covered through Monday morning.
