Cerulean Woman Sent to Local Hospital After Being Hit By Car

A Cerulean woman was sent to a local hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Princeton Monday morning.
Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that officers responded to reports of a vehicle and pedestrian accident in the Walmart parking lot just before 11:30AM.
Preliminary investigation revealed that 17-year-old Colton McCalister, of Princeton, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet when he struck 74-year-old Betty Cornelius as she was crossing the parking lot.
Cornelius was then transported to the Caldwell Medical Center by Caldwell County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
Chief King says that no charges are pending.
