Governor Bevin To Seek Re-Election With New Lt. Governor

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin has filed his paperwork to seek re-election.
According to media reports, he announced Friday afternoon that he will run again for the state’s highest office. Bevin told reporters during a news conference he will run with 28th District Senate representative Ralph Alvarado of Winchester. Alvarado won the re-election for the seat in November and currently serves as the co-chair of the Health and Welfare and Family Services Committee.

Also in the run in the Republican primary is Robert Goforth and William Woods.
