Local Citizens Likely to Experience Delay in Waste Collection

Local citizens will experience a delay in their waste collection service due to inclement weather overnight.
According to a recorded phone message sent out to customers Wednesday, Freedom Waste Service in Princeton says that all trash pickup will be delayed by one day through the weekend.
The delay is due to extreme cold and a small winter storm that dumped around an inch of snow across the area, causing hazardous driving conditions during early morning hours.
The phone message added that those who normally have their trash collected on Thursday will now have it collected on Friday. While those who have their trash picked up on Friday will now have it collected on Saturday.
Regular pickup days will resume beginning on Monday, February 4th.
Anyone with questions can contact the Princeton office at 270-365-6200.
