Local families with young children will have an opportunity to explore cooking together at a free workshop next week.
Joni Phelps, Assistant EFNAP Agent at the Caldwell County Extension Office, says they will be offering another Little Books, Little Cooks on Friday, February 15th at 10AM at the Extension Office.
Phelps adds that they offered the first workshop in January and loved it so much they decided to host another, but families must register due to limited space.
The workshop is free and open for ages three to five with parents or guardians. Phelps says that families will cook and read together while learning to make healthy choices.
Those who wish to register need to call the Extension Office at 270-365-2787 by February 14th.
