Local Bluegrass Band Performing at Local Church on February 24

A local bluegrass band, who had members featured on a prime time television show, will be performing at a local church later this month.
Brennan Cruce, member of the bluegrass band Classy and Grassy, says they will be performing at the Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Sunday, February 24th. He adds that the band is made up of himself and Cutter and Cash Singleton, who all hail from Marion.
The Singleton brothers were seen last year on NBC’s “Little Big Shots” with Steve Harvey. The full episode, which aired on June 28th, can be found online on NBC’s website.
Cruce says the group tours the local area and also ventures into Ohio and Michigan as well and will be playing later this year at the Vine Grove Kentucky Bluegrass Festival, which will be headlined by Ricky Skaggs.
Cruce states that Classy and Grassy will be playing traditional bluegrass and gospel music at the church and is inviting everyone in the community to come out for what is sure to a great evening.
The show will start at 6PM at the church, which is located at 303 Cassidy Avenue in Fredonia. For more information you can call 270-545-3418.
