The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for all of western Kentucky beginning Sunday afternoon through late Monday evening.
Forecasters say another 2 to 4 inches of rainfall is on the way. Locally higher amounts could be possible, mainly in the southern counties near the Tennessee border.
Forecasters add this is another round of soaking rainfall, similar to our last system that brought rivers to a flood. Flood Warnings could be issued at any point where excessive rainfall is falling.
