Two Princeton Men Arrested on Various Drug Charges Saturday

Two Princeton men were arrested on various drug charges after a traffic stop on Saturday morning.

According to a Princeton Police report officers stopped a vehicle for expired registration plates on Depot Street just before ten. Upon approaching the vehicle officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

The driver, 24-year-old Austin L. Litchfield, and a passenger in the vehicle, 24-year-old Travis G. Robinson were arrested.

Litchfield was charged with drug paraphernalia buying or possessing, possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense methamphetamine, among other charges.

Robinson was charged with drug paraphernalia buying or possessing, possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense methamphetamine, and possession of synthetic drugs first offense.

Both Litchfield and Robinson were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
