Heavy Rains Cause Flooded Roadways Across Region

Motorists need to use extreme caution if traveling Saturday night due to flooded roadways across the region.
Caldwell County Emergency officials report no road closings as of 4:15 Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, in Trigg County, Emergency Management Director David Bryant reports roads that typically flood during heavy rain events are closed at this time.


Reports have also come in of high water in three separate spots of Old Dover Road, two spots of Oak Grove Church Road, and Floyd Sumner Road is impassable at this time.
Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says there are no flooded roads in the county at this time.


 
Bryant urges people to stay home as rainfall pushes out of the region Saturday night.
