Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Coming in March

Looking for something fun to do on a Saturday night with family and friends? Look no further than a dinner theater being hosted by the Caldwell County Junior Class.
Kim Farmer, educator at Caldwell County High School and Junior Class Sponsor, says the junior class will be hosting Last Stop: Murder, an interactive dinner theater, on Saturday, March 16th at 6PM in the high school cafeteria.
Last Stop: Murder takes place in the 1940’s aboard the Oriental Express. Passengers merely wish to get to the last stop but are stranded overnight when the train gets stuck in a snow drift. When one passenger ends up dead it’s up to the rest of the passengers to figure out who the culprit is.
Farmer adds that the experience is much like a live game of Clue. Participants will watch the mystery unfold before their eyes and will work as detectives to solve the murder. While the show is interactive, participants will not be expected to perform with the actors, but will work with those at their table to follow the clues and find the murderer.
The night will start off with dinner, which will consist of pork-loin, green beans, smashed potatoes, salad, a roll, and dessert, before the show begins. Farmer notes that tickets are $20 each and include both the dinner and the show. She adds that tables of six or more can be reserved. All funds raised will go to the junior class for junior and senior expenses. Tickets can be purchased by contacting a member of the junior class or calling the high school at 270-365-8010.
