Funeral services for Joseph Michael “Mike” Ladd Sr., age 83, of Princeton, will be held Friday morning at eleven at Lebanon Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pool Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from four until eight at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Mike was a retired electrician for Alcoa Aluminum in Newburgh, IN. He served as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher at Lebanon Baptist Church in Caldwell County and was a member of the NRA and was an outdoorsman. He was also a previous Caldwell County deputy jailer and electrician at Venture River.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta J. Howton Ladd of Princeton; one daughter: Tammie Messick and husband, Kent, of Cadiz; one son: Joseph Michael Ladd, Jr. and wife, Pam, of Cleves, OH; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
