The 2018 Audit of the City of Princeton has been released and the findings were positive.
David M. Anderson, Certified Public Accountant, who is from Ledbetter, presented the findings to the Council during a regular meeting Monday night. He says that the audit revealed there aren’t any problems.
Anderson did add that there was one major factor that did affect the city’s financial statements for the year.
He notes that this was mainly due to the troubling pension problem within the state.
In his presentation to the Council Anderson also explained several of the findings and detailed portions of the financial statement.
After a motion and a second the Council unanimously approved the city’s 2018 audit.
