48th Annual Princeton Optimist Club Radio Auction Getting Closer

Members of the Princeton Optimist and Kiwanis Clubs are reminding citizens that the 48th Annual Princeton Optimist Club Radio Auction is coming up soon.
Princeton Optimist Club member George Kilgore says funds raised through the radio auction will go back into the youth of the community and will be used in a variety of ways, most notably their scholarship fund.

He adds that most of the funds for the scholarships come through the Good Ol’ Goat Club.

Last year the Princeton Kiwanis Club joined forces with the Optimist Club to put on the auction and Bob Hayes, member of the Kiwanis Club, says that the money they raise during the auction also go to fund a variety of youth activities in the community.

Ty Englebright, President of the Princeton Optimist Club, is imploring the community to get involved this year with both the radio auction and the Clubs themselves.

Kilgore adds that the auction does have a Facebook page and individuals can contact them through there to donate items to the auction or learn more about volunteering.

The 48th Annual Princeton Optimist Club Radio Auction will be held March 18th through 22nd from 5:30 until about 10PM at the Butler Gym and broadcast live at WPKY 103.3FM/1580AM. More information will continue to be released as we get closer to the auction.
