Friends of the George Coon Public Library Membership Drive

The Friends of the George Coon Public Library are celebrating 25 years and are holding a membership drive to bring new members into the fold.
Kathy Svoboda, President of the Friends of the Library, says that they are having a meeting, Tuesday, March 12th for anyone interested in becoming a Friend of the Library.

She adds that the Friends of the Library are volunteers who help raise money to provide various things the library may need.

Most recently the Friends of the Library provided a blow-up projector screen so that the library can hold movie nights both inside and outside throughout the year.
Svoboda notes that membership dues are $10 a year for adults and $5 a year for students or seniors over age 55. Family memberships are also available for $15 for a year.
Those interested can attend the meeting on Tuesday at the George Coon Public Library or can contact Kathy Svoboda at 270-339-6937 for more information.
