Life Planning Seminar Offered at Morgan’s Funeral Home March 19

A local funeral home will be hosting a seminar dealing with a variety of key topics for those interested in learning about the benefits of planning ahead.
Rick Morgan, Funeral Director at Morgan’s Funeral Home, says they will host a Life Planning Seminar on Tuesday, March 19th at 5:30PM at the George Coon Public Library in Princeton. He adds that they decided to host a seminar like this because they are approached regularly by people wanting to prepare arrangements to take the stress of loved ones but just don’t know where to start.
He notes that he encouraged Brian and Jenna Wainer, new owners of the funeral home, to start these types of seminars back up as an educational opportunity for the community to learn more about their options for planning ahead.
Morgan says the seminars will feature local attorney Vance Cook, of Vance W. Cook – Attorney at Law, who will discuss wills, estate plans, powers of attorney, and living wills, how they work and who benefits the most from these legal tools.
He notes another featured speaker will be local C.P.A., Rick Williams, of Williams, Faughn & Associates, PLLC, who will discuss investments and the benefits of life planning strategies.
Van Johnson, Prearrangement Specialist, will speak on funeral plans and how you can alleviate financial and emotional burdens for your family at the time of loss by simply planning in advance.
The public are being invited to join the staff at Morgan’s Funeral Home for a free informative session.
Those interested can RSVP by calling Morgan’s at (270) 365-5595 to reserve a seat and to receive a packet of take-home materials and information.
