A local veterinarian is reminding all pet owners that spring is the perfect time to get their fur baby’s vaccinations.
Dr. Travis Luna, veterinarian at Roger’s Vet Clinic, says that spring is the best time to vaccinate our furry friends as diseases tend to ramp up during the season.
He adds that vaccinations should start when the animals are young.
Dr. Luna notes that puppies and dogs need to continue to come back every six months to a year for updated vaccines.
He also adds that cats need a few different vaccinations.
Dr. Luna also says that horses require several vaccinations depending on their lifestyles.
