Initial Draft of Proposal from Princeton Tourism Commission Presented to City Council

The initial draft of a proposal from the Princeton Tourism Commission concerning a possible restaurant tax has been presented to the City Council.
Commission Chairman David Brown presented the proposal to the Council during a meeting Monday night saying it was for their consideration only.

He added that the Commission went to great lengths to listen to the community and compile the proposal.

He noted that the research came from several different areas and believes the draft is a good reflection of that research.

No details of the proposal were spoken of during the meeting and no action was taken.
The Princeton Tourism Commission meets every Monday at noon at the Tourism Center and the meetings are open to the public.
