Eastbound traffic is being diverted off of Interstate 24 as crews continue to clean up the scene where a tractor-trailer overturned in Christian County Thursday morning.
Christian County Emergency Manager Randy Graham says a tractor-trailer overturned in the eastbound lanes near the 78-mile marker just before 5:00. He notes traffic is being diverted off the interstate in Trigg County.
He says it will take some time to unload the overturned semi.
Shortly before 11:00, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd said off-loading the paper was going slower than expected. He added the estimated duration time the road will be blocked is three hours.
