It may be a few weeks until Easter but families can still celebrate by attending the second annual Family Fun Day with the Easter Bunny this weekend.
Organizers say that the event, which will be held Saturday, April 6th from 11AM until 4PM, will be at the Lee S. Jones Park, located at 510 State Route 93 in Eddyville, and is open for all in the community.
Free photos with the Easter Bunny will be available between noon and two but organizers note that you must bring your own camera.
Several vendor booths will be set up during the event and will include handmade arts and crafts, food, and more. There will also be free games for the kids and drawings for prizes throughout the day.
Organizers add that the event is free admission but they are accepting donations of canned goods to be given to the Lyon County Food Pantry.
