A Princeton man has been arrested following an incident on Thursday.
According to a Princeton Police report officers arrested 38-year-old Michael D. Grubbs on a Caldwell County warrant just after noon on Friday. Officers charged him with assault fourth degree and unlawful imprisonment second degree.
The report states that the charges stem from an assault that occurred on Thursday, April 11th. The victim told officers that she was allegedly assaulted by Grubbs before he took her car keys and cell phone and refused to let her leave the house.
Grubbs was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
