Local Church Celebrating Groundbreaking of New Family Life Center

A local church is excited about the next chapter in their history and are inviting the public to partake in the celebration.
Southside Baptist Church Senior Pastor, Baxter Boyd, says the church will have a groundbreaking ceremony for their new family life center on Sunday, May 5th beginning at 5PM.

Those special friends Boyd mentions are Peanut and Laurie Copes, who along with a genuine chuckwagon, travel the country. Peanut says they prepare yummy primitive meals and share the Gospel with all those they encounter.

Laurie adds that they are originally from Louisiana but travel through the area a lot and are excited to be at the event on Sunday.

She states that they will be cooking several old favorites while at Southside.

Peanut and Laurie won’t just be cooking a hot meal over a open flame, they’ll also share their testimonies and how God is moving in their lives. Peanut will also share the “Armor of God” Cowboy style.
Bro. Boyd notes that members of the church are excited for this next chapter and are hoping the new family life center will be yet another way to fulfill their mission for God.

All are invited to celebrate with members of Southside at their groundbreaking ceremony Sunday, May 5th beginning at 5PM at their location on 205 Nichols Street in Princeton.
