Bids Accepted for Two Surplus Princeton Police Vehicles

Bids have been accepted for two surplus Princeton Police vehicles following action taken by the City Council.
At a meeting Monday night Mayor Kota Young opened several bids for two surplus police vehicles, one of which was operational, the other non-operational.
Three bids were opened for the operational 2008 Ford CV. Two were sent by Joe Loney in the amount of $1,200 and $1,525 with one sent by Richard Menser for $1,710.
Two bids were opened for the non-operational 2009 Ford CV. One was sent by Joe Loney for $601 with the second sent by Richard Menser for $706.
After short discussion, a motion and a second, the Council unanimously approved both higher bids from Richard Menser for the surplus police vehicles.
