Parents of children under the age of five are being invited to participate in the next Laugh and Learn Preschool Playdate Friday, May 10th at the Caldwell County Extension Office.
Ashley White, Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences at the Extension Office, says the playdate will be held from 9:30 to 11AM at their location on Highway 62 West in Princeton. She adds that children will partake in fun activities that will teach math skills, language skills, science, sharing, colors, shapes, letters, numbers, fine and gross motor skills, and so much more. A healthy snack will also be provided.
The theme will be “A Day in the Garden” and will include such activities as flower matching, making tissue paper flowers, planting a tomato, digging up worms, learning basic and fun yoga poses, and more.
White notes that the playdates are geared towards those five and under and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The playdate is free but those interested must RSVP by Thursday, May 9th by calling the Extension Office at 270-365-2787.
