Over 100 Caldwell County Students Honored at Friday’s Commencement

Over a hundred students were presented their high school diplomas during Caldwell County High School’s commencement ceremony Friday night.

Co-Valedictorians Hannah Greenfield and Nathan Parades, along with Salutatorian Parker Parrent, were recognized, addressing their fellow classmates, thanking them for the memories and wishing them a successful future.

Principal Christy Phelps addressed the class a final time, congratulating them on their various achievements and challenged them to create their own future.

Princeton Mayor and Caldwell County Alumni, Kota Young, was the guest speaker and encouraged the Class of 2019 to look to their future, even if they were unsure where that future leads.

He ended by motivating them to take charge of their own future and assured them that everyone in the community are standing behind them, cheering them on.

One hundred and forty-two students were honored during the ceremony, which was held at the CAB.
