The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is working on replacing concrete slabs along a three-county section of Interstate 24.
Spokesman Keith Todd tells the News Edge crews will be working between several sections of highway in Caldwell, Lyon, and Trigg counties.
He notes the crews will be working in small sections of roadway over the next few weeks.
Todd adds work was done along this section of roadway a few years ago.
Todd expects a majority of the work to be completed by mid-July, with general rehabilitation expected within the next two years.
