Kentucky Agriculture Training School – Mid-Season Training June 13th

The next class in the Kentucky Agriculture Training School is quickly approaching and local producers are being reminded to sign up and participate.
Officials with the UK Research Center, who are facilitating the classes, say that the next class will be held on June 13th from 9AM to 4PM, with lunch included, at the Research and Education Center located at 1205 Hopkinsville Street in Princeton.
The class, which does cost $105, will cover soybean and corn growth staging, herbicide injury symptomology identification, soybean disease management considerations, early and mid-season scouting for insect pests for corn and soybeans, and more. Participants are also able to receive CCA Continuing Education Units and Pesticide Applicator Credits during the event.
The Kentucky Agriculture Training School is comprised of researchers and extension specialists working together to offer quality hands-on agricultural workshops during various stages of the growing season. Participating consultants, advisors, and producers will benefit from the interactive in-depth workshops, which will equip them with the information they will need regarding crop management and production.
