Teens Have A Chance to Express Artistic Side at Local Library

Teens in sixth through twelfth grades are being invited to attend a fun way to express their artistic side at the local library this summer.
Nichelle Faughn, Director of the George Coon Public Library, says that the Out of This World Art workshops will be held Tuesday, June 11th, Friday July 5th, and Tuesday, July 23rd beginning at 3PM at the library on South Harrison Street in Princeton.
She adds that the theme is running in congruence with the summer reading program’s spacey theme, A Universe of Stories, but teens can participate in the workshops whether they are participating in the program or not.
Faughn notes that the first and last workshops will feature a paint night with the second workshop focusing on making galaxy shirts.
Those interested in participating in the galaxy shirt workshop must be registered by July 1st so that shirts can be provided. All workshops are free and you can register your teen by calling the library at 270-365-2884.
