Dathel “Smiley” Lockhart, 80 of Princeton

Funeral services for Dathel “Smiley” Lockhart, 80 of Princeton, will be held Tuesday afternoon at one at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery in Eddyville with military rites to be held at the cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday morning from ten until service time at the funeral home.
Dathel served in the U.S. Air Force, including one tour is Vietnam, retiring after 20 years. He was also employed as a guard for 20 years at Western Kentucky Correction Complex and a charter member of Southside Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife: Fredia Ann Sweeney Lockhart; daughter: Willa Martin and husband, Jeff, of Youngsville, NC; son: Dean Lockhart of Princeton; Logan, Carter and Langston Voigt; mother: Willa Bell Lockhart of Princeton; sisters: Patricia Crowe and husband, Bobby, of Greenville, MS; Karen Oliver and husband, Randy, of Princeton, Sharon Tosh and husband, Tony, of Eddyville and Pam Childress and husband, Gary, of Princeton; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
