The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Lake Wind Advisory for all of western Kentucky from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday.
Meteorologists say sustained south winds around 15 mph will occasionally gust close to 25 mph at times. Winds will especially be hazardous to boaters who will encounter choppy waters due to higher waves, especially along Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
