Two-Vehicle Accident Ties Up Lunch Time Traffic Monday Afternoon

Lunch time traffic in Princeton was a bit backed up due to a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.

Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis says that crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 62 West and Medical Center Drive just after 12:40. He adds that it appeared that the driver of a silver Chevy sedan, whose name has not been released, was traveling east along Highway 62 and attempted to turn left onto Medical Center Drive, striking a Dodge pickup that was traveling west.

Chief Francis notes that traffic was restricted to one lane for about twenty minutes as crews worked to clear the scene.
No one was injured in the accident.
The Princeton Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Police Department, Princeton Public Works Department, and Caldwell County EMS.
