City officials are hoping to ramp up community member interest in being appointed to local boards and commissions by making it easier than ever to become involved.
At a Princeton City Council meeting Monday Mayor Kota Young stated that the city currently has several vacancies across a number of city boards.
He added that officials are working on a simple board application for those interested in serving.
Also at the meeting Mayor Young appointed a community member to the Caldwell County Board of Assessment Appeals.
Following a motion and a second the Council unanimously approved the appointment of Warfield, who will serve a term to expire on June 1st, 2023.
