Princeton Man Arrested for Driving Under Influence Wednesday Morning

A Princeton man has been arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
According to a Princeton Police report officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on West Main Street just after three. The report states that when officers approached the vehicle they detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from the vehicle. The driver, 56-year-old Garry Scott, allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Scott was charged with DUI first offense and reckless driving and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
