Princeton Man, Fort Campbell Woman, Arrested Following Incident Early Thursday Morning

A Princeton man and Fort Campbell woman have been arrested on various charges following an incident early Thursday morning.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male and female at Walmart just before five. The report states that when officers arrived on scene investigation revealed that 29-year-old Felicia N. Piper and 28-year-old Jonathan M. Porter were allegedly under the influence of intoxicants. Both were arrested and taken into custody with Piper charged with DUI first offense and Porter charged with public intoxication.
While in custody Porter told officers that he and Piper were staying at America’s Best Value Inn and consented to a search of their room. The report indicates that officers located methamphetamine and paraphernalia inside the room.
Porter was subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia buying or possessing.
Both Porter and Piper were then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
