Mowing Season Continues Throughout County

Officials are reminding motorists and residents to be cautious this mowing season.
In a post on social media Monday Caldwell County Magistrate District 4 Jeff Simms says that county roads are currently in the state mowing rotation. He adds that after speaking with officials at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet mowers are making their away along “A” routes, which include main state highways such as 293, 139, 62, etc.
Simms notes that employees with the Caldwell County Road Department are also working on roads throughout the county.
He explains that both departments are asking for motorists and residents to practice patience as they work to keep up with recent rains that have left increased growth and muddy areas throughout the county.
Simms also went on to thank the many citizens and members of the Ag community who have donated their time and equipment to help mow several county roadways over the last few weeks.
