Ribbon Cutting for New Chill Spay Sensory Room in Eddyville Wednesday

All in the public are being invited to attend a ribbon cutting for a new sensory room for students living with autism.
According to a release, the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting for BB&T’s Community Project, a Chill Spa Sensory Room at Lyon County Elementary School, on Wednesday, July 24th beginning at 3PM. The release states that the sensory room is for those students living with autism within the district.
Deb Domke, Executive Director of the Lake Barkley Chamber, says they are truly excited about this new addition to serve the students of the community. She adds that the outstanding efforts of the banking team at BB&T of Eddyville has landed the branch with the BB&T Spirit Award for the state of Kentucky for the project.
The release explains that since the financial institution’s inception, BB&T has completed more than 11,000 community service projects nationwide.
The Lake Barkley Chamber is a business membership organization made up of nearly 100 members with a hope to build a thriving regional economy, enhance the community’s quality of life, and strengthen member businesses.
