After narrowly passing the Kentucky House of Representatives Monday by a 52-46 vote, Governor’s Matt Bevin’s pension-relief proposal is one step closer to final passage after it was advanced out of a Senate committee Tuesday.
The Senate committee reportedly advanced the bill without any changes. The bill now goes to the full Senate for consideration Wednesday. If the pension-relief bill clears the Senate without any changes, it will then go to Governor Bevin for his signature.
