Rinse and Return Event Scheduled for First Monday in August

Area farmers are being invited to bring their emptied pesticide and chemical jugs to a local Rinse and Return event the first Monday in August.
Shane Bogle, Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources with the Caldwell County Extension Office, explains that the Rinse and Return program is a way to safely recycle pesticide and chemical jugs used by farmers and producers.

He adds that once these jugs are properly recycled they are used to make several different types of products.

Bogle notes that the event will be held Monday, August 5th at Agri-Chem on Highway 62 West in Princeton.

He also states that all jugs must be emptied out with no chemical left inside.

For more information about the Rinse and Return event at Agri-Chem on Monday, August 5th you can contact Shane Bogle at the Caldwell County Extension Office at 270-365-2787.
