Blood Drive for American Red Cross in Princeton Thursday

All in the community are being encouraged to give blood and help save a life on Thursday.
Caldwell County American Red Cross Chairperson Anita James says there will be a blood drive from noon until 6PM at Calvary Baptist Family Life Center, which is located at 121 Kentucky Avenue in Princeton. She adds that donors need to enter the front doors of the Family Life Center, go down the hall and enter the gym area.
James reminds potential donors that they must be at least 17 years of age, or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds, and have not donated whole blood in the past 56 days. She states that potential donors should also bring a photo ID or their Red Cross Donor Card.
Calvary Baptist Church Pastor, Bro. John Hagan, says that the church will be having a “Donor Appreciation” day during the event and will have sandwiches, finger foods, desserts, and other goodies for those who donate blood. They will also be giving away door prizes throughout the day.
For more information you can call the church at 270-365-5605.
