The Grand Champion Kentucky Country Ham from Penn Hams sold for one million dollars during the 56th annual Farm Bureau Country Ham Breakfast.
The ham was purchased by Central Bank, with President Luther Deaton noting it is a way for the company to give back.

Deaton says the money raised from the sale of the ham will be donated to charity.

The 16-pound ham won the Country Ham Show last Thursday at the fair. More than $13,000,000 has been raised for charity during the auctions history.
