As the new Homemakers year begins community members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of ways.
Ashley White, Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences at the Caldwell County Extension Office, says that while the Homemakers kicked off their new year earlier in the week it’s not too late to join in.
She adds that if someone is interested in joining the Homemakers but can’t meet once a month for whatever reason they have two other options for getting involved.
White notes that they do have an enrollment sheet that can either be picked up at the Extension Office or it can be mailed or emailed to you.
She explains that Homemakers are more than just quilters and seamstresses.
