Next Peveler Hearings In Marshall County

Former Hopkinsville High School Band Director Seth Peveler and his wife Hannah are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Circuit Court in September after a special judge was appointed in their cases.
According to court records, both are scheduled to appear before special Judge James Jameson Thursday, September 12, at 12:30 in Marshall County Circuit Court for a pre-trial hearing.
Judge Jameson also signed a search warrant that allowed Hopkinsville Police to seize data contained in conversations on Facebook and Instagram between Seth Peveler and the high school girls he is accused of having oral sex and sexual intercourse with during a period from December 31, 2015 and May 24, 2019.
The search warrant also covers items that were described to investigators by the victims such as sexual toys and other items that were allegedly at Peveler’s home.
Seth Peveler is charged with four counts of rape 3rd degree, four counts of sodomy 3rd degree and one count of unlawful transaction with a minor.

Hannah Peveler, who was an assistant Christian County Prosecutor, is charged with three counts of tampering with a witness after she allegedly tried to get the victims to not testify against her husband.
