A Dawson Springs man was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Hopkins County Wednesday morning.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash occurred shortly after 11:30 at the intersection of Charleston Road and Beulah Road, north of Dawson Springs. Deputies say 42-year old Wesley Peters was driving southbound on Beulah Road and couldn’t avoid hitting a vehicle driven by 35-year old Laura Huddleston of Nortonville, who was in the yield lane crossing Charleston Road.
Peters was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health in Madisonville for further medical attention.
