Princeton Softball League Donates Over $1,000 to City County Park

The recently established Princeton Softball League donated over $1,000 to the City County Park Thursday afternoon.
League Organizer Brandon Stalion says that he and his wife, Megan, originally thought of the idea after playing in a Church League in Fredonia in June and July and was blown away by the community’s instant interest in a league in Princeton.

Park Director Steve Kukahiko commended both the Stalion’s and the community for the success of the league in brining more interest to the park.

Stalion adds that games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Princeton Mayor Kota Young, who was present for the check donation, expressed that the league is the start of great things to come for the park and is excited for what the future holds.
Games are free and open to the public, with concessions and public restrooms available, every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of September.
