Princeton Woman Arrested in Connection to Hopkinsville Hobby Lobby Thefts

A joint investigation between the Princeton and Hopkinsville Police Departments have led to charges for a Princeton woman.

According to a report released Tuesday, Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that on Wednesday, October 2nd, officers were contacted by Hopkinsville Police in reference to a shoplifting case they were investigating which lead them to identify 31-year-old Hailey L. Bargeron as a suspect in several thefts from the Hobby Lobby in Hopkinsville.
He adds that officers then went to Bargeron’s residence to interview her about the thefts and discovered stolen items and drugs.
Bargeron was then arrested and charged with first degree possession of methamphetamine, third degree possession of a controlled substance, and receiving stolen property under $10,000. She was also served Caldwell and Christian County warrants charging her with failure to appear and theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000.
She was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
